The library of the Rijksmuseum voor Volkenkunde has a unique collection in the field of non-western art and material culture and related fields. The library collections contain about 40.000 books, over 1000 journals (of which about 100 are current), pamphlets and maps. Everyone is welcome in the library, but borrowing is not possible.
