Footwear
Women's boots were usually longer than the men's, always reaching to above the knee.

In 1934 women still wore various kinds of long boots made of seal leather. (Photo: Jacob van Zuylen, 1934, no. AF 164).

The boots were slightly shorter on the front of the knee, and were split there in the shape of an bracket. The upper edge was often trimmed with fur.
